 Details
Environmental adviser Colin Green has urged gardeners to provide purpose-made hedgehog hibernation boxes. He says that gardeners who encourage these animals to stay in the garden over winter will reap dividends when the animals awake in spring and start to eat garden pests like slugs. Severn Trent Water have produced some guidelines on building a hedgehog box on their website, http://www.stwater.co.uk.
